IMA studio bannerStudents of the International Music Academy

I offer a variety of different programs to suit the various needs of my students. I work with students as young as four years old and as old as 70+!

For students who are interested in achieving short-term goals but who do not necessarily want to commit to lessons full-time, I offer online courses as well as lesson packages.

Online Courses

For students who are interested in achieving specific short-term goals, self-study students, and those looking for something to supplement their ongoing music education.

TMEA All-State Etude Kickstarter Challenge!
Spring 2021. Cello and violin track available.

Elementary Rudiments Theory Intensive
Summer 2021, dates TBD.

Additionally, I am developing a library of courses which will be a hybrid of self-study videos, group classes over Zoom, and some one-on-one time with me. Is there a specific topic/technique/piece which you would like to see a course about? Let me know!

Private Studio

Are you looking for regular lessons? I am currently accepting new students, both in-person and online. Besides weekly private lessons, all students participate in studio classes, masterclasses, performances, and more!

SuzukiMusic

In addition to running my own studio, I am also on the faculty of SuzukiMusic (the National Capital Suzuki School of Music) in Ottawa, ON, Canada. I recommend this option to all incoming students under the age of seven, as well as to all students interested in learning through the Suzuki Method. The program consists of weekly private lessons, regular group classes, performance opportunities and more. To learn more about SuzukiMusic and to register for lessons, please visit their website

Adult Students

I am passionate about empowering adult students to achieve their musical goals. I know from experience that learning a new skill in adulthood is so much more challenging than doing it as a child, and I strive to create an environment for my older students where they can receive ongoing support throughout their musical journey.

Yoga For Musicians

I initially began practicing yoga as a means to address the physical and psychological demands of being a musician. I eventually discovered a style which I fell in love with and took my first teacher training shortly afterwards. I have now completed two 200-hour trainings, as well as a multitude of continuing education programs and workshops. I specialize in working with musicians and with anyone who is skeptical about trying out a yoga class.
